When you choose Metalnecks Salvage, we will work with you to exceed your expectations and leave your property looking better than ever before.
Metalnecks Salvage was started by Amos Severson and Michael Little in 2011. We are a locally owned and operated business that offers a variety of different services. We started by cleaning up scrap metal from farmyards and oilfield and selling to metal recycling yards in Edmonton. Within a short period of time, we got into roll-off bin services and opened a small recycling yard north of Camrose. A few years later we bought a piece of land near Kelsey, Alberta and developed it into a public scrap yard. Fast forward again a few years we opened a second scrap yard in Drayton Valley. We have over 20 employees and a large supply of equipment that will allow us to do pretty much any job that comes our way. Our services include, but not limited to, scrap metal clean- up, demolition, long haul trucking, custom equipment hauling, mechanical and welding services, nonferrous purchasing and roll-off bin services for both scrap metal and garbage. We value the safety of our employees and the environment and have achieved a COR safety certification.
Metalnecks is always looking for energetic people, willing to work at various tasks, including general labour, equipment operator and truck driver. A class 5 license is necessary, and Class 1 would be an asset. For the right person, we are open to the idea of sponsoring an employee to get their Class 1.
Position is located at our Camrose location.
Journeyman certification or higher necessary.
We offer a variety of payment methods, including wire transfer, cheques, and cash.
We can arrange a pick up no problem, depending on quantity and distance. We can also put different sizes of bins on your site.
Pricing varies daily and depends on the type of metal. We are very open on our prices, but because they change frequently, please call us for the current market price.
Our public yards are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mon to Fri, and closed weekends and holidays.
